Orson Welles' infamous radio version of H G Wells' "War of the Worlds" is to be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra tonight at midnight.

Just to clarify, the invasion is a play, it isn't real, don't panic and throw your belongings in your car and drive away...

They're here! To be honest I'm not quite sure why it caused the panic (if it did) as it's obviously a play once you're into it. I have it on cassette somewhere, as given away with a magazine years back...
