OooooOOOOooooOOOooh.

I'm quite tempted by this, just not sure if I can justify the purchase right now. The free shipping might push me over the edge, though.

Push me it did. Just ordered it. Not only that, I found that Book Depository site were selling Simon Marsden's posthumously published new book Russia for about a fiver cheaper than anywhere else so I went for that too. Oops. Still, photobooks are an investment, the previous two in that series apparently sell for around £150 each these days.

Excellent! I hope they deliver it to you soon. I used to use The Book Depository and found them reliable

I actually got it the other day (though I'm still waiting for the photo book). I haven't had a chance to read any of it yet though, I've got a couple of library books I have to finish soon before getting into anything else.

Leaving me aside (although it is my first NZ story ...and my heart and soul went into it) the TOC is top.

I'm so loving NZ but the dystopian novel is coming...as it does with me...under the surface until I can no longer contain it.

The first review of The Grimscribe's Puppets is in...

'Allyson Bird's Gailestis is a fine example of quiet horror. The story is almost reminiscent of a fairy tale or piece of folklore, with horrific implications strewn throughout.'

Nice one! I'm actually still reading this, even though I've had it for a year. I just dip into it now and then when I'm in the mood. I think I'm about two-thirds of the way through now.
