I saw this DVD last night, "MAY", by one Lucky McKee, Angela Bettis acting. I don't know if it's a bad or a good movie, I won't venture into criticism but I loved it.
It's one of the few in my DVD collection I would never part with, not even as a loan. (Anyone knows what happens with lending items, whether movies, books or whatever!)

I really liked this one, too, mate. Bettis is amazing in the lead role, and it's wonderfully creepy and offbeat.

I also really enjoyed McKee's equally offbeat episode of 'Masters Of Horror' about the flesh-eating lesbian bug thing - you had to see it.

I liked that a lot, too. Again, Bettis was superb.

Angela Bettis plays in Tobe Hooper's "TOOLBOX MURDERS" too. I have a chance to buy that one. Reviews seem to say it's an okay movie, recommending Bettis's acting and Hooper's direction as well. Is anyone familiar with that flick? (No responsibility for my possible money-shed, of course!)

I tried to watch it a few weeks ago, Giancarlo, but I could only last through about 20 mins. It seemed just as bad as the original.

Okay mates!
I think I will be veering to "WENDIGO" and/or "THE BUNKER" (the one with German soldiers.) What about those two?
Thank you for any useful opinion!

Wendigo is rough and ready and an awful transfer but a lot better.

WENDIGO...if you mean the Larry Fessenden film, then it's excellent.

WENDIGO is just beautiful. It's content to be like a sensitive child in the corner of a playground.

Highest possible praise from me for "May"! Gorgeously quirky and sympathetic. I was expecting something totally over the top but it was surprisingly subtle. A stunning portrayal by Bettis. I'm watching "Sick Girl" tonight!
