New collection by Ramsey, from Dark Regions Press.
All new stories, Ramsey, or some reprints as well?

I seem to have read somewhere this title was to be a PS Publishing imprint. From the DRP website I gather "Holes for Faces" will only be sold as part of a six books batch at the remarkable price of USD 210.00! What if I am not interested in the excess five books? I find it unfair being forced to shell the big sum out with only one book out of six as my target. Maybe contacting DRP can lead to an agreement for buying just one's favourite title. Otherwise, it's adieu to "Holes for Faces" (as far as my money bag allows!)

Don't worry, Giancarlo - Holes for Faces will be available singly as well. They're mostly reprints.

Is Holes For Faces an allusion to that great line in 'The Guide', Ramsey?

I'm not sure about that title, mind. It's not really underlining Ramsey's best qualities or accomplishments. But hey ho, winning over new readers etc.

I seriously think it is a great title, Tony.

Like your story 'The Holes'?;)
And my cover for 'Agra Aska'?

Sometimes a title doesn't make sense or is fully effective until you've read the story.

I think it's a brilliant title - and I, too, assumed it was an allusion to The Guide.

Hi, Ramsey! When "Holes for Faces" is available as a single book, will you post about it in the News section of the Forum? Here in Rome I feel a little stranded with respect to the main flow of English language horror books. Thank you.

Still nothing on the horizon about "Holes for Faces"? Beside DRP, was it not going to be published by PS Publishing too, as stated on the Author's page, or have they changed their mind?

So it seems it's coming out from DRP as a single book too, after all! Signed De Luxe and limited hardcover editions first (December 4th) and other, probably paperback, editions at a later date. Or so I seem to understand. Hallo, Ramsey, is that correct?

That's a great cover. Santiago Caruso has also done artwork for Ex Occidente Press, such as the Peacock Escritoire by Mark Valentine and Tarshishim by Ron Weighell.

I bought Holes for Faces from Amazon, presuming they'd imported it from the US, but last night noticed it said "Printed in Great Britain by Amazon.co.uk" inside the rear cover.
I guess this is why it was a little over £9 rather than the £17 it would have cost me to ship from the US from Dark Regions Press directly.
It doesn't worry me that this is the case but I've not noticed that in other books before - I shall keep an eye out for it.

Pardon me asking, and so late in the day at that, but assuming most of the stories in this volume (which I don't yet own) are reprints, would anyone tell me where the stories are collected from?
Are they from various anthologies which I almost certainly don't own, or am I likely to have them already in other books of Ramsey's?

Hey Patrick - there are a few stories that were published as limited edition chapbooks, the rest appeared in various anthologies, and there's one new story. A lot can be found in many of the 'Years Best' anthologies.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, Ramsey.
So, no, sounds like you wouldn't have them already.
Would be easier to buy this collection, than try to track the stories down individually. Plus, it's always good to have Ramsey's tales collected together.
Lincoln.
