You ever wonder why no artist has made, for example, large (say the size of a cat) exact replicas of, say, house-flies? Down to the jerky movements and buzzing and drooling mouth and millions of eyes? Or similar versions of black widow spiders, maggots, ear-wigs, etc.? It's not like someone couldn't, probably quite easily... and similarly odd things are made all the time (see the baby, above).... The reason is, because some things are so goddamned SCARY that no one - not even the tres-droll ironically-cool - could fucking handle them in reality, extracted like live specimens from the realm of sheer nightmare. | ||
