Hooray! Did anyone catch the first episode of their new series? My favourite bits were the brain surgeon at the party, how to find your books by slapping your thighs and the superbly obscene Queen Victoria sketch (It's YOUR society it's got YOUR name on it - do you realise how fucking hot I am in this big hat and Victorian beard!!?? screamed Mitchell's Disraeli to Webb's Queen V at one point). No sign of Sir Digby Chicken-Caesar yet but I'm immensely cheered to see their return

I liked the alternative to ringing the doorbell and the sketch about their action figures.

I'm just listening to their radio show. It's MUCH funnier, probably their best work. Most of the best sketches didn't survive the transplant to the soil of telly.

Yep, caught it and loved it, even the obvious "apprentice/big brother" takeoff.

And "Well, it's hardly rocket science"...

More good stuff this week - as well as the above I like the post-apocalyptic gameshow that somehow manages to evoke that bleak post-event hopelessness redolent of those BBC dramas of the 1970s while at the same time being very funny.

And I loved "Polite Taxi Driver" and "I used to be a serial killer and then I realised this kind of evil reaches far more people". And Captain Todger raised a chuckle before he opened his mounth

Lord P- yes, and yes! 'The Event' gameshow is brilliant. Also loved the 'Death Ray' sketch...

Oh God yes! The Giant Metal Death Scorpion To Help Shelf Stacking That Fires Useful Bullets From Its Tail nearly had me on the floor - that was an absolutely brilliant sketch
