Life's been - hectic lately, for the past year or more. I'm currently working six days a week outside the house, at two different jobs - one just ending, another starting, hence the overlap, as I fulfill obligations to the soon-to-be former employer while accommodating the new one - and am trying to focus on my own writing as well. End of July should see things settling down, and my first priority then is to get AH finished off. It's had to take a back seat to family, paid employment, and writing, for which I apologise. Current subscriptions will be honoured in full with two 300+ page issues, and I'm intending keeping it going for the foreseeable future. | ||

Well done Barbara - I have an easy job, a none-too-hectic life and STILL I feel like I don't have time to write. I don't know how you do it, so well done! BTW I LOVE the look of the bumper issues. | ||

I write when I've strength, usually first thing in the morning -- about 6-30 to 8-30 -- and if my joints are not screaming at me and I can concentrate enough to think I do a bit in the evenings too. I'm in a lull at the moment though. Been scribbling shorts in longhand and then typing up if they might be worth the effort. Right now I'm well-exhausted and have screaming pain in every joint in my body. On the plus side, I do have a cup of tea and time to doodle a few lines . . . | ||

Still no updates, beyond what I posted on the All Hallows group earlier this year (summer, I think): that there are reasons for the lack of progress in producing the next issue, some personal, some financial (specifically, on this last point, the need to devote time to making money to pay for things like the mortgage, grocery, phone bills, etc.; the economic downturn has not bypassed our little corner of the world). Believe me, when I have news to report I'll be spreading it far and wide. |
