Steve's one of those writers who, when I read something new by him, makes me think 'Why do I bother writing?' One of the best talents out there on the contemporary scene, and sadly under-appreciated, I think. Glad to see him getting this recognition. Frankly, I'm getting a little tired of the Auntie Rodens coming on this message board every once in a blue moon and taking the high moral ground.
