Nah, he's really gone to Italy cos he heard there was a volcano there that was big on eruptions. He viewed it as a challenge, was determined he's capable of bigger explosions. And cos he's from Sunderland, wor man, he's getting there on his knees, dragging himself by his nose hairs, cos anything else is too soft. | ||

Mark, I didn't, unfortunately. I went up to my roof, but there were no clouds to obscure the sun, so I saw nothing. My parents and my brother and his kids saw a 'partial eclipse', though, and were chuffed about it. I had to settle for watching coverage on the news from China, where it looked spectacular - they showed people driving around downtown Shanghai in complete darkness in the middle of the morning, with their headlights on. | ||
