Fab line-up. Except for that McMahon bloke. Whom I hate.

Irony? Me?

Thanks, Lincoln! Thanks kindly for the interest. I don't want to accept any monies before the book is published. If anyone wants to reserve a copy you can send an e-mail to:

undertowbooks (at) gmail (dot) com with RESERVE in the subject field, and once the book is out in October I will send out copies. Anyone who reserves a copy will get free shipping.

Reserve me one, Michael. But are you really sure you want to offer free shipping to folk outside of Canada? Won't be cheap to send it out, you know . . . If you're doing only a trade PB, that could eat away all of your profits. Just a word to the wise, as it were.

Best of luck with the anthology, Michael. Nice to see Simon B amongst the contributors. :-)

If all goes well, sales-wise, when do you think you'll be seeking submissions for a second volume?

Gary,

You're right, of course. I should have specified free shipping to North America. Here in Canada we have no such thing as "media mail" and it generally costs me $13 to ship a book to the U. K. Canada Post is criminal. Many small businesses here suffer greatly because of their rates.

I'll figure out a price point where I can not lose money on the book shipping it overseas.

But, since you've reserved one, I'll ship yours for free.

Thanks!

Thanks for the interest, Steve. I'd like to do the book annually, but am not sure if it's feasible. I'll likely know early in the new year if I'm doing another. At that point I'll make sure to post about it on the board here.

My pleasure, Steve!

What's that old saw, Gary, about making a million dollars in publishing? First you start with 2 million dollars.

Thanks, Mark! Yes, publishing is a new venture for me. I've edited for a number of publications, including ChiZine and City Slab, and I had another home for this project, but decided, in the end, I'd do it myself.
