Can't remember who on the board recommended this film but thank you very much for doing so. Just magnificent. Funny, beautiful and moving. The bit where Sam Neill (as Spanley) is remembering the thrill of the chase in his past life as a dog is utterly enchanting. | ||

Like Proto, I thought Dean Spanley was excellent. And it's nice to see Lord Dunsany's novel back in print as a result of this adaptation. Sam Neill was good in the recent Iron Road too, which coincidentally also stars Peter O'Toole. | ||
