Hi all, (I'll crosspost this with the All Hallows forum) Encouraged by the comments about my first attempt to review a book (Valentine's splendid The Nightfarers) via the YouTube channel, I recorded three more reviews about interesting books. I hope you find them at least informative & possibly entertaining viewing: Leo Perutz: Leonardo's Judas / The Swedish Cavalier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8whvYGmeqw Paolo Bacigalupi: Pump Six http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spVeZVKW0eQ Naoki Urasawa: Pluto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75kHu55Hx8I I might do a few more next weekend, if I can still use this borrowed camera. Over time I intend to have posted a set of concise reviews on interesting books that are a bit special. Probably no negative reviews, I'll mainly put energy in books across genres that I really enjoyed. Comments, remarks and insults are eagerly awaited! Enjoy... |

Naaaah... Just my hands... focus is on the books, not on yours truly. Now I've been toying with the idea of adding wine reviews as well, and that's easier to do when being on-screen yourself. We'll see. I promise, when you've seen the Perutz clip, you well start hunting down those splendid books! |
