Indeed Craig- there is an idea. The only current monthly Marvel comic I'm reading is King's The Dark Tower, which I'm enjoying. The Talisman is coming out in October. Ally, Disney also bought Pixar, and so far Disney has let Pixar get on with what they do. In the case of Marvel however, I'm sure they're eyeing all those characters for animation treatments and movie franchises etc. But surprising and worrying, though I have to admit that I'm not too much of a super hero fan, unless someone is trying to do something different etc. BTW off topic, I saw Charles Stross in the street in Copenhagen the other day. I didn't go up to him and geek him out or anything, but it was surreal. I think there was a Con here in Copenhagen, and he might have been guest of honour. I liked his novel Iron Sunrise. |
