Our very own John Llewelyn Probert is interviewed on my website today. Quote:

JLP: 'I have a few projects in the works that I can’t talk about right at the moment, and as ever I’m waiting for Hollywood to ring, although I don’t think I’d ever want to move to California as it would probably be too warm for me to wear velvet all the time...'

Lovely - can't wait to read both!

Though it looks like you've cheated Lord P of one of his L's.

Thanks everyone! Seeing as this seems to be the spot for some shameless JLP publicity, perhaps a few of you might care to feast your eyes and glut your soul on a picture of me and a huge organ on my latest news column:

You really should be on the tv, Lord P - I envisage you as the natural heir
to the art historian Kenneth Clark and Donald Sinden.

I know. I just need to convince the BBC that they need me

In all seriousness, it's high-time we had some genuinely clever and interesting people on television.
The Beeb used to give Orson Welles carte blanche to talk about, well, anything & this was never less than fascinating. But that was in the days when the BBC was actually watchable.
