I watched this incredible Werner Herzog documentary last night, and just wanted to recommend it to everyone here. It really is breathtaking, and awe-inspiring in the true sense of the word. Looks awesome and you can't really go far wrong with Werner Herzog when it comes to capturing man dwarfed by Nature... but still hanging on in there. Might have been one for the big screen though. |

I liked the part where two of the scientists play electric guitares everytime they identify a new species or lifeform. (Every week almost they claimed) On the other end of the camp, specialists are worrying about the melting ice-cap. So surreal. And the tractor driver/ philospher was a cool character as well. |
