But I noticed when they sent me my "goodie bag" this time that the pre-registration rate has gone up considerably. It's now £35 (last year was £25). So how much will it be when they announce the full rates?! That made me decide not to pre-book this year. I've already booked for World Horror Con (really hope I can make that). Then there will be AltFiction again next year, I hope. So I think I'll have to give FCon a miss completely next year.  | ||

Happy memories! Vincent Chong designed the cover of Bull Running. I sent him some photos of Diana Rigg in The Avengers - so the girl on the cover evolved from them. I'll bet it took ages for Vinny to find the jacket I particularly wanted her to wear. So - she is a sort of Emma Peel/Avenger girl for present day. | ||

Thanks Mick. Girl attacked daughter and got her in a headlock...she couldn't move..as the pain became worse my daughter bit her. Both grounded at school lunchtime Friday. Near accident? I - upset at that and other things = not concentrating. | ||

Ally - hope your daughter is better now. Tell her that what seems like a big deal now, the worry and fright of dealing with people in school, will one day be a distant memory that will make her cringe with mock embarrassment. We all felt like that. Tell her the idiots she has to deal with, will no doubt remain idiots well into adulthood. | ||
