Good pics, Weber - whereabouts were the hill-walking ones taken? |

The hill walking pics were taken in the Langdale valley oop there in the rather magnificent lake district. Gary - there's only one of me. I just happen to have a brother who looks similar. I did mention having a twin on another post recently. |

Gary - saying to a twin - "Jeez there's two of you" is about equivalent to saying "I don't believe it!" to Richard wilson or "you'd better cut down then" to Mr Smoketoomuch. |

Prof - it's pretty clear which one is Weber...the one nearest the camera. The other little chap looks quite a happy sensible fella, the other has the maliciousness of a rabid dog sparkling behind his solar panel sized spectacles. |

Actually Frank, looking closely at the picture, the one closest to the camera is wearing brown glasses, and the one at the back has black glasses. That means that the one in the foreground is indeed me because the colour of our specs was the only way our parents could tell us apart (not to mention teachers etc. The only person who's always been able to tell us apart at a glance is our sister). |

Weber - is that you on the end? No...not the one with the glasses, the nice smiley female. Don't tell me you're a woman. Eh? Wait a minute. That'd explain quite a lot. Doesn't matter one bit to me, mate. Live and let live is what I say. |

Seriously, I looked at your pics from the lakes to Africa, and I have no idea which one is you??? So, you are a mountain climber? Bit of an athletic soul, are ye? Did I scoff at your opinion of Phantasm? Now I come to think of it, you're right, mate. Blame Craig. He paid me 3 quid to say those things. I always respected you. Yeah, Craig, you manipulative bastard. Haven't you done enough? Aren't you ever satisfied???? Are you listening? I know you're out there. I can smell ya. |

Identical twin brothers in my class at school often fought each other, didn't get along. Mischievous, I told one to tell the other how bloody ugly he was. |

Weber, do you know anything about sheep? I ask because those in the picture - I've never seen that breed before. What breed are they, do you know? * thinks: someone's going to spend ages coming up with a silly comment here * |

They look like Herdwick. Though the wool's not grown as much as on some I've seen. Herdwick are a hardy breed, favoured by Lakelanders for the higher fells. Beatrix Potter used to keep them. |

I know nothing about sheep except the best recipes with which to eat their young. Mr lynch is probably right as it was in the lakes. |

Thanks, Mark - I didn't realise we had sheep experts here too! My interest, in case you're wondering, is that I have a bit of an agricultural bent in that my first taste of working life, many years ago, was in farming. But I don't know enough to be able to tell one sheep breed from another, obviously! Nice pics anyway, Weber. |

To be perfectly anal, Caroline, Weber's response - for God to create a bigger version of Himself that will pick the big rock up - is to say: God CAN create a rock so big even He can't pick it up. Which is why Weber's God needs to create the bigger version, that can. Which is to say: Weber's God is a flawed and fallen God, who creates that which He cannot control. But I'm happy to know Weber's God is still willing to help out in picking up a rock even He can't lift in order to drop it on Weber's thickishly numbskulled of a head. |

There are so many responses to that. I'm tempted to say "It's not from personal experience, his mother told me" but I think I'd be accused of bring the board into disrespect again... so I'd better not say it. |
