OK chaps - I just need a bit of feedback here.

I (perhaps foolishly) mentioned to the World Horror people that I had a piano recital that I wouldn't mind giving if they needed entertainment spots.

Anyway I've been emailed back with 'We've put in the requisition for the grand piano'.

So now I just need to know - would people be interested in this? The plan is for 30-45 minutes of horror movie music as played by me on the piano, with all the flamboyance that you might expect. Themes will include The Fog/Zombie Flesheaters/The Beyond/Candyman/Theatre of Blood/Halloween etc etc. All I need is for at least two or three people to turn up to appreciate it. My beloved Lady P will of course be there but is anyone else interested? (You really won't be disappointed)

I'd be very interested, especially if Philip Glass is included.

Seriously my sort of thing.

Oh yes, yes, YES! And an extra 'yes' for some Philip Glass from me, too.

If this is in England I will catch a flight over if this happens.

Does Brighton have a cathedral? If so perhaps we could all take it over and you could have a go on the church organ like you did in Abergavenny. I still wonder if anyone recognised the Candyman theme out in the village.

Thanks everyone! It'll be the first time I've performed in public for twenty years (although of course some might say that's debatable) so I have some trepidation about it but what's life for if not for occasionally causing yourself unnecessary abject terror?

Craig is right; this needs to be recorded not only so we who cannot attend may catch a glimpse of this marvel, but also so the event may be recorded for future generations to look upon as the beginning of the new age of wonderment.

I'll be there too - so long as I make it to Brighton. You definitely have a willing (but probably rowdy) audience, Lord P!

A brilliant notion, Lord P. Please do post some of your recital on Youtube. Fabio Frizzi performed on a grand piano in a nice English hotel. Beautiful!

I'm in! What about "In a Godda da Vida" if you get ahold of the organ?

…no, not that organ!

I'd request the music from The Exorcist, but you'd need the tubular bells for that. Granted, simple octave-spaced pairs hammered on a piano sound quite similar…

What about "Music Box Dancer"? That's always been pretty horrific in my experience.
