Hello.

I used to post on this message board years ago as StephenW (I think). I stopped for quite a while but now I'm back. Hurrah.

I still read horror fiction, but not as much now. I'm getting into hard boiled/noir crime & mystery stories in a big way. I also read books on film, music and science.

I'm also an avid film watcher. Even at 46 I'm still watching ever piece of horror crap that comes out. I am finding the trend towards excessive torture and gore a bit much though, so I'm definitely getting old.

Cheers,

Stephen

Hi Stephen. I've just called you Steven on another thread. Sorry! Didn't realise.

Welcome. Or welcome back. I wasn't here then, I don't think.

Stephen, if you've not yet seen the film BRICK I suggest you do so. Very much in the spirit of Dashiell Hammett (though set in a high school).

Hello again. Thanks for all the nice words. Just sorting out stuff for the Festival of Fantastic Films. It's a busy weekend.

Simon> I have BRICk on my "to watch" pile. I bought it from FOPP for £2!
