I posted about this over at the In The Gloaming website (http://inthegloamingpodcasts.wordpress.com ), but I just watched it again, and found it just as great the second time. So I thought I'd tell all of you about it.

If you've got five minutes, it's a wintry, creepy treat...

Cheers for the link Nathaniel - I love animation (although I've not kept up to date with it for years) but that's a nice little film. Reminds me somewhat of Paul Berry's "The Sandman", but I'm not quite sure why!

I only occasionally keep up with animation, but I've been interested ever since Channel 4 did an Animated Christmas (?) season when I was a teenager. They showed lots of great stuff, all of which I videoed and watched endlessly.

I occasionally do voiceover work for animations now, which ensures I see things I otherwise wouldn't, but having young children is excuse enough for me to watch all sorts of animations.

I haven't seen The Sandman, so I must go and track it down now...

It was the Channel 4 stuff that got me in more than I already was - I used to go to the animation strands at the London Film Festival each year.
Ah - there you go - The Sandman:-

Wow! That was lovely! And right up my street. I can't believe I hadn't seen it before. Thanks, Mick!

If you watch THE SANDMAN, stay to the end, as there's a tiny bit after the credits.

That's very nasty. I like it very much...
