While taking time off from being Thomas Pynchon, I have decided to experiment with online publishing by publishing an old and very amusing screenplay of mine called "Whackers" on a site called Smashwords.com. Its premise is this: A law clerk's blind passion for his attorney puts him on the fast track to hell when a glib n' greedy hit man hires himself to whack the attorney's fiance. A madcap slapshtick nightmare about the awful things that can happen when dreams come true. Think "The Producers" or "The Fortune Cookie." Those of you on the far side of the pond may find the humor too regional-American (as Monty Python goes over the heads of many Americans).
