Anyone seen this? I've just bought it unseen, just because it sounds like my cup of tea. By all accounts it's stunning. And has anyone seen Ebert recently? He has half a face. It really upset me to see it. |

No, you're right - he seems so content, enviably rounded. To a lot of people having that surgery would have ended their psychic lives. |

Haven't seen it, Tony, but know it by reputation and apparently it's one of the most beautiful technicolor films ever made - one to wallow in. I have seen Renoir's 'Boudu Saved From Drowning', 'La Grande Illusion' & 'La Bête Humaine' which are amongst the very finest and most moving films I have ever watched. You're in for a treat and I envy you the experience.  |
