but then I am so it will be of no surprise to know that I watched a programme on the atom at 3.a.m. last night. 'Perhaps the most famous conference was the October 1927 Fifth Solvay International Conference on Electrons and Photons, where the world's most notable physicists met to discuss the newly formulated quantum theory. The leading figures were Albert Einstein and Niels Bohr. Einstein, disenchanted with Heisenberg's "Uncertainty Principle," remarked "God does not play dice." Can't find the link to the programme but in that footage I saw Heisenberg looked across at Shrodinger and it was written all over his face...'well the shit has hit the fan now...' | ||

I can't even find it today :>(. I have no idea if it is accessible etc. The electrons on the Bohr tower were interesting. A little hard to understand though :>). | ||

Bohr gets a bad press in the documentary Mark Everett made about his Dad. He apparently refused to even listen to anything Hugh Everett had to say and his brusque dismissal by one of his heroes led to a long bout of depression. | ||
