I couldn't believe he was as stupid as this. Does he have the right to some time off, in order to better manage the crisis after being 'refreshed'? Yes, certainly. Does he have the right to some free time with the family? Absolutely, yes. Is it wise that he choose to spend time relaxing with his family by attending an event which is associated with the richest and most powerful, and which is also held in a location that most closely reflects the situation he is attempting to control? [all together now] Nooooooo! What a silly bunt. |

Indeed. But here's more: the French president, with the Eurozone in a state of cyclical crisis, is really getting to grips with the issues that truly matter (to all true Frenchman): http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/world_cup_2010/8756210.stm |

FFS. What next? Give Nick Griffin an award for improving race relations? Vile, mass-murdering quisling and war criminal. In other words, a Kanute and a half. God. That grin. That fucking GRIN. |

Yeah, but he did do a sketch with Catherine Tate. That makes him a man of the people, see. I mean, who did Thatcher choose? Yes, Minister, wasn't it? Elitist BBC2 stuff. No, you leave Mr Blair alone. He's mainstream. He's one of us. |

Every MP who voted for that war deserves to be hung from a lamppost. Along with every shitbag journalist who bayed for blood- Burchill, Nick Cohen, David Aaronovitch. Every vile one of them- dishonest, mendacious scum that the are. I am in a very bad mood this morning. |

Er, Kanute and the defence of his qualities is quite an issue of mine. He was a wise, much-loved King who tried to show his adoring people that he could NOT keep the sea away from the shore. |

"Er, Kanute and the defence of his qualities is quite an issue of mine. He was a wise, much-loved King who tried to show his adoring people that he could NOT keep the sea away from the shore." It would have been the height of irony if he'd managed it, wouldn't it... |
