Surely if it were a comedy it would be pitched differently.

Okay, so it's pile of excrement. Even if it's aimed at the teenage market and then upwards, teenagers are a lot more sophisticated these days. You only have to look at the first Final Destination movie to see what they expect.

I think the funniest part is "Coming Soon To Theaters" - uh, no, highly doubt it.

And what the hell, was that Robert Patrick I saw?!?

Even good actors, sadly, need to pay the mortgage. If they can get one.

But IS it actually a comedy? There was nothing but a picture and a blurb when I went to the original link so I searched for a trailer on YouTube and found the one I posted.
Which doesn't look like a piss-take. So I'm confused.

I see no evidence in that trailer that it's a comedy at all

Well, The Long Lost is a comedy...

Is it, Mr Campbell? Next you'll be saying The Face That Must Die is one as well

Mayhap it's a Marxist take on the board game "Monopoly"

One eye on here, the other on Ghana 2 USA 1 (thus far)...

NO! I didn't think it was a comedy, I thought I was mistaken, and that it had bypassed my comedy detectors.

'The Long Lost' went from atmospheric supernatural horror to deliciously witty black comedy before finishing as devastating social drama. A unique, uncategorisable work (you were right, Zed) and Ramsey's best that I've read...
