Eh? Have I just missed yet one more pun, one so expertly balanced between the mystically realized, and the sheer brilliance of wit, that my feeble intelligence has failed to grasp the sublime complexities which it bestows?

(Waiting for the inevitable two or three worded retort) (:

Del Toro wrote a novel. Was just asking.

What's all this other stuff mean? If you have a point to make, please do so.

Thanks.

Jesus Christ, are there a couple of bears with sore heads walking round these parts today, or what?

This other stuff doesn't mean a thing, just having a larf.

I've watched that trailer twice now and I can see neither Katie Price nor John Holmes. What's going on?

'If you have a point to make, please do so.' Bleeding hell, have you had a humour bypass today? We're not on the Oxford Debating Team, I was just waffling nonsense as usual.

You been reading up on the Stasi or something?

Mick - you got your glasses on, mate? Seriously, Pierce is the one with his hand going through the glass window in the door, Katie Holmes, you have to look real close. It's only a teaser trailer anyway.

I'm certainly teased.

By the trailer, that is - not the bizarre conversation I seem to have stumbled onto.

This link wouldn't open, but if it's the trailer I saw, it's pretty creepy seeming... a lot like WAR OF THE WORLDS it appears to be, in feel, but still....

("appears to be, in feel"... that can't be right....)

Is this based on the classic TV movie? I only asked because I can't be bothered to watch the trailer...

Mick - it's me who needs glasses, mate. Katie Price and John Holmes (he of the adult entertianment industry?). Ah, I get it. Apologies.

I LOVED the original film. I sort of dread that this one will be too artsy and deep. Something about the simplicity of these old tv movies works in their favour, I feel.

I liked the original TV movie. My fave 70s TV movies, however, remain "Trilogy of Terror" and "Bad Ronald." You fellas get those in the UK?
