Anyone seen this lovely BBC film starring Michael Caine? Caught it last night - superb. ghostly without ghosts. |

I have. Thought the descent into madness a bit swift, but still enjoyable. We all laughed for about an hour after at the 'guillotine' scene. |

I liked it, but I can't say I loved it. From the description I thought it would be a film that was made for me... but in the end IMHO it felt kind of watered down. Very surface. I kept waiting for it to get going. And really wanted more from the thread of taping people's last breaths...
