I can't say how proud I am to be involved with this one - that's some line-up. |

Ooo, this looks good. That one would certainly feed my fear of the London underground (fortunately, I rarely/never go to London). Reminds me of that excellent - but often overlooked - film, "Deathline". Nice one Jonathan! |

Hurrah and congratulations to everyone involved! I've only read one story so far, but it's a cracker! |

Looks grand. Looking forward to grabbing a copy. New Campbell, new MMS, new Royle . . . what's not to like? Well, OK, maybe McMahon and Bestwick: complete riffraff. And then at the opposite side of the cultural spectrum, that unutterable dandy Probert. But apart from them, it sounds great. |

Hurrah and congratulations to everyone involved! I've only read one story so far, but it's a cracker! My Lady is too kind And then at the opposite side of the cultural spectrum, that unutterable dandy Probert. But apart from them, it sounds great Unlike my publisher and 'mate' Dr Fry . I have to say I'm absolutely delighted to be in this book and I can't wait to read the rest of it. The launch party at Foyles should be loads of fun as well - we're planning on coming to London especially for it. |

"Missed Connection" is one of Ramsey's titles published in the Night Visions series. So there is either a cross-listing with M.M.Smith's title (The Rounds) in the table of contents, or a tale of a similar title has been written indeed by M.M. Smith. We'll see when the book materializes! |

Must be the latter, Giancarlo, as Ramsey's story 'Missed Connection' is set on an overland train rather than a tube train. In the UK they are different types of train (though oddly, heading out of London the tube trains run overland). Also, I believe the stories in this book are all new. Ramsey's Missed Connection' is also in Ghosts and Grisly Things. It has a grim ending as I recall. |

Had the pleasure of hearing Ramsey read his contribution to the antho at WHC in Brighton. In order to get to the damn reading I had to make an early escape from the House Of The Curry That Took Eternity To Arrive, which had nearly triggered a manifestation of my tribe's ancestral totem spirit F'foksaek (aka Bear With Sore Head) ... but that's another story. Ramsey's story, on the other hand, is an absolute cracker. |

Oh, that's right, Simon! I was there too! I hadn't realised that THAT train story was THIS train story. LOL Please forgive me, Mr Campbell! |

99% of the stories in the collection are new. Michael's is actually a reprint from a web-only story from 1997. |
