Just saw this, and loved it! I assume those of you with kids are already aware of the show. Christ, makes me wish I were working in England...

A. - I've loved this since the first series in 2007, being drawn to try it as it was from the same folk who make the Wallace & Gromit films - I believe there are 40 episodes in all. Brilliant stuff, Bitzer (the dog) probably being my favourite character, although the farmer and Shaun himself are not far behind.

I've never seen it but I bizarrely thought that the thread might for some reason be about the self-same titled second lp in Donovan's double album, A Gift from a Flower to a Garden. Great record but it has no place here I suppose. Back to the topic.

Just don't make any quick movement, Huw, or you'll scare her off.

Jennifer (my wife) used to burst into tears of embarrassment whenever her 6th Grade teacher would sing "Jennifer Juniper" at her in class.

...sorry, were we actually discussing something else?

Don't like his whimsical stuff. I do like 'I'll Try For the Sun', 'Turquoise' and a few others.

>>...I really like 'The Hurdy Gurdy Man' too....<<

Was it Steve Hillage who did a wonderful version of that on his "L" album?

Anyway ... I love Shaun the Sheep too. It's not just for the little 'uns.

Agreed Carolinec -- not just for the little 'uns...

The little 'un I watched it with sat next to me and said "you're like a kid AND a grown up..." I'm pretty sure she meant it in a good way, but it did get me thinking....

GCW – thanks, I will.

A – good to see you again. Hope you're well. I've been insanely busy of late but hoping my hibernation plans will come to fruition.

Awww... I loved Shaun from whichever original Wallace & Gromit episode he was in, but I've never seen his own show. Sounds like fun!

And "Lalena" is my favourite of Donovan's. Lovely and melancholy.
