For anyone who has read the book, here's the trailer. Great director, Romanek of One Hour Photo, and Carey Mulligan and Andrew Schofield starring.

We'll see. I don't trust trailers...

Rumour has it that Christopher Nolan is interested in filming The Athenian Murders, a superb novel that struck me as a detective story Nabokov (or indeed Sebastian Knight) might have written}.

Lord P, are you listening? Athenian Murders? That book what I got a replacement copy of recently and said you might appreciate?

Although I can't get my mind round how it could be translated to the screen!

The book is very good. I always laugh when I read about Michael bay fans complaining that this film is ripping off the Island.

I seem to remember Michael Bay settled out of court for breach of copyright himself on that film.
