Aw, sorry your thread's so lonely, Terry. I don't really follow blogs and reviews and things like that, but I wanted to post something here so you know at least one person is reading your thread. I'm sure others are too; they're just rendered speechless, that's all! Actually, I might read your review of Bob Lock's book - I was most impressed with his stories in Des' Nemos. |

I'm all right, you know, I get by. I have my telly and pet cat and a comfy chair. Cccasionally the postman calls with a bill or two or I might shuffle down to the corner shop for tin of soup and a paper. Just get on with your own lives and have fun, I wouldn't want any of you to feel guilty on my account. I mean, why should you? Sigh, I'll be okay here all on my own. Cheers Terry |

I'm enjoying your reviews too. It might be worth popping each one onto a separate page, to make it easier for authors and publishers to link to them. That's by far where most of my hits come from. |

I've just posted reviews for "Way Home" and "Run Free", a pair of novels by the intriguing, beguiling Andrew Fisher. Not a name many of you will have heard of but his books are witty, ambiguous (particularly "Run Free"), possibly children's stories, possibly not, and worthy of your interest. The publisher, Opel Press don't have much of a presence on the web so contact me if you're interested. http://exaggeratedpress.weebly.com/index.html Cheers Terry |

A review of "Sein und Werden: Pharmacopoiea" is now on my Exaggerated Web Site at http://exaggeratedpress.weebly.com/index.html If you haven't tried "Sein und Werden", then I suggest you get yourslef a copy (£4 only!) or go to their website for an on-line version. It is an adenturous, edgy and often highly entertining publication. I'm about to review their new chapbook, "A Tour of Beaujardin" by Marc Lowe, which I would also highly recommend. lowe is a writer I am fast coming to love. Next will be Gary Fry's "House of Canted Steps", halfway through it, great ghost story so far. Cheers Terry |

Thanks for the kind comments. The review was well-deserved Gary. It is a little strange when the reviewer gets a good review for a review. A bit like a night club proclaiming that they have "'Live DJs' in da house". I mean, are there clubs with dead ones? Do the DJs actually play the musical instruments? Did they write the songs? Since when has a mere purveyor of other people's art earned the right to be proclaimed? Anyway, what's that got to do with this book, or thread? |
