nature itself has got it in for me today. First my cat, lovely creature though he is, decides to wake me at 4:30 am by licking my face and purring like a mini buzz saw in my ear. he then decided to stop me from getting back to sleep by jumping on me at random intervals. Then after I finally dragged myself out of my pit and started the 25 minute walk to work it was pissing it down with rain which stopped the second I walked in through the door of the office... |

Well, at least you know now - the next time it's raining and you want it to stop, go walk in that damn doorway! |

I'm afraid we lost our dear old puss cat just over a month ago, and I'm still missing him. |

Sorry to hear that, Caroline. Some people, not all people, don't tend to understand what losing a pet means to us animal loving folk. |

Thanks, Frank. You're right. It's a grieving process we go through, for sure. |

Yes, we;re still missing our Dear Flo. Actually, Weber, you may be right. I do detect a pattern in events, between good times and bad times. Every ten years or so, I go through a period where very little, if anything, goes right. "Can't cross the street without getting fucked." I'm seem to be going through one of those right now. (Flo's passing is one example.). All I can do is keep my head down, be careful and stay healthy and alert. It won't end until it ends. |

Yes, Thomas, I saw your post and read your blog entry about you losing your cat too. I didn't comment at the time as it was still too "raw" in my mind for me to talk about it. You expressed the feelings very, very well indeed. Thanks, guys! |
