When I first looked at the logo all I saw was 2012. It took me actually reading the article to see the word Zion. That being said, I do not think there is a subversive or conspiratorial group of anti-muslim athletes or advertisers trying to overtake the 2012 Olympic games. But to be honest, I really don't like the "Graffiti" type logo they picked. Why can't they just use something simple that doesn't make people scratch their head when they walk away. Everyone wants to make mascots of the Olympic games and usually no one knows what the hell the mascots are supposed to do or represent. Just play the games. | ||

I detect a clever ploy by Iran to tap into the unrest sweeping the region by concocting their own Islamist conspiracy theory, to deflect any thoughts of (justified) uprising against their own regime, by painting the West & Israel as concerted enemies pumping themselves full of steroids and other drugs in an attempt to become some kind of superhuman Master Race against which the Arab nations should unite in Holy War. Strange how people see different things in this logo. When they first unveiled it, someone actually had to point out to me that it was supposed to say 2012. To me, it just looked like a random pattern of random shapes, all flung together for no apparent reason! | ||
