My God, another projector night, and what might be a full-blown classic already. I don't think this film puts a foot wrong till the last second, when it just sort of stops happening. Everyone in it is excellent, it never overplays (though you think it does in your memory). The kid is just fantastic.
Anyone else given this another try since first watch?
Excellent film, the best of those Castle Whatnot jobbies.

I liked it too, and have been meaning to watch it again.

We liked this one a lot as well, so much so in fact that we gave his 'House of Wax' remake another go (not recommended, btw).

And Tony I agree - it's certainly one of the better Dark Castle pictures, although I still think their remake of House on Haunted Hill is marvellous for about 80% of the running time.

Haven't seen this. Really that good then?

You do mean the 2009 film by Jaume Collet-Serra? I see he directed that new Liam Neeson thriller, 'Unknown', in cinemas at the minute.

Is this the one with the tagline "There's something wrong with Esther?" Never seen it, but when the posters were up we got a lot of fun at my fiance's expense (that being her name).

I quite liked it myself. And it's gotten quite a cult following among the younguns, teens and such.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one to enjoy it. I think a lot of horror enthusiasts slept on it when it first came out, which is too bad.
