Who'd have thought these deceptively simple books would have so much to them? :-)

Another Keith Flett is among us. Or maybe the same Keith Flett under another name. These mini-essays are tremendous fun – and unlike many such spoofs, they reveal a good knowledge of critical theory.

My favourite was always Mr Silly.
Actually I really think it would be a worthwhile exercise for everyone here to list their Top 10 Mr Men!

Here's mine (picked instinctively):

1. Mr Silly
2. Mr Bump (awww...)
3. Mr Lazy (me to a tee)
4. Mr Messy (ditto)
5. Mr Topsy-Turvy
6. Mr Jelly
7. Mr Clumsy
8. Mr Muddle
9. Mr Dizzy
10. Mr Nobody

Sheesh... I think I need a good psychoanalyst!!!!

I always thought I was a bit like Little Miss Perfect.

(no, Stevie, I think it's ME who needs a good psychoanalyst!)
