...was last night at an Australian Pink Floyd concert. At the start of the second half of the show (they opened part 2 with Breathe from DSOTM) the light show behind them became 3D and we were treated to a flying pig very slowly floating and rolling through the air off the stage and appearing to hover above the heads of the audience 4 rows in front of us. It was one of the most fantastic things I've seen at a concert and certainly the best use of 3D I've seen so far ANYWHERE. They did manage to top it later on though when, in the middle of Astonomy Domine, a 40 foot tall inflatable pink kangaroo appeared on the stage behind the band, bouncing along in time to the music. Akll in all a brilliant show! |

Impressive. But I'm not sure it tops the severed willy in Piranha 3D :D |
