Sorry, haven't been 'round with this n' that and what and whatnot, but I have three new pieces at my webpage: one a review of a debut novel that swirls around a lost manuscript by Vladimir Nabokov; another on the Japanese earthquake and an announcement of my first public reading of "Dragon's Ark" (and I'd love to see you all there, but I simply cannot afford to fly you all over).

Take care, everyone and thanks!

As usual...caught up with your blog! And yes a terrible tragedy to befall Japan.

I know a girl who lives in Tokio. She regularly sends in replies to my daily twitters and e-mails - but I haven't heard from her since yesterday. I fear Japan - or the world, for that matter - will never be the same again. Why these nuclear reactors weren't built on a hill surrounded by a massive sprinkling system I shall never understand.
