The published copies of the 'Cone Zero' anthology is being delivered to me on Friday 4th July. So advance order conditions will only apply till then:
http://weirdmonger.blog-city.com/cone_zero_under_way.htm

The previous 'Zencore' anthology has been described as 'staggeringly important' and 'Cone Zero' is at least as good, I reckon. :-)

Not yet. Not had it lose. But if I did it would - I suppose - be zero.

Seriously, anyone not owning Zencore or Cone Zero will one day regret it. Once gone, they will not be reprinted.

The book has 14 horror stories by 14 different authors that are loosely or closely connected with the author's own interpretation of the phrase 'cone zero'.

CONE ZERO has indeed arrived. If I say so myself, it truly looks magnificent.

Contributors' copies and first orders have been despatched.

I read one of your stories, Des.

Lowered lashes.

Interesting. A definite skill with words. Quite confusing though...in an almost understandable way.

I almost can't bring myself to accept you exist.

If that helps.

I think I would read more.

I'm paradoxically more unknown and more well-known than anyone else here.

Thanks for your comments, Albie.

The two DFL books have been published in America not Britain.

But Nemonymous (including Zencore & Cone Zero) by other writers is published by me in Britain.

Would you live in a cone? I would.

They are like giant reminders of the toppled ice creams of our youth.

Damn! Now you've got me writing about them!

(Go, Davros!)

I am surrounded by coincidences to the point I'd rather God just popped up and sat beside me and got it done with. Why did this story of Des's have to have Psycho mentioned in it, and all the things that stuck in my mind from it, such as Eroica, as well as the story mentioning also black and white tellies, which I just tonight brought up on the other thread?
I am seriously scared. And I won't tell you my big coincidence of the week, god ticking me off and kicking me into line.

Very happy, Tony, to be a provider of interesting coincidences! :-)

Meanwhile, here is the first impression of CONE ZERO (only a day after sending it out!):
http://kidshirt.blogspot.com/2008/07/welcome-to-new-weird.html
Includes:
"Like I said: hop on board! In 10-20 years time people will be talking about stuff
like this as being the beginning of something new, and tatty old copies of Nemonymous
will be selling for stupid amounts."

Are there some stories more conical than others?

Are some just tubular?

Yes, there is a vase-like story, rather than conical, and one with a cone-shaped joint. The rest are highly conical, except the first story that is hardly conical at all.

There's a story in CONE ZERO about a red snowfall (but not Rivers of Blood).

That YouTube is highly disturbing, I find. In a good way.

I get bored quickly.
