Dear All

Dear All

"Wordland", my new e-zine, is now open for submissions.

I am looking for all kinds of fiction, poetry, and also articles and interviews relating to writing, art, the media.

The theme is TWILIGHT.

I want twilight of our lives, our world, our universe, of relationships, governments, jobs, civilisations, companies, stages of lives, eras, childhood, of gods, beliefs, flowers, seasons, careers, jobs, fame, days, nights mornings, evenings, afternoons, songs.

I am pondering the artwork question. There will be cover art, and I would like illustrations relating to the stories.

I am not looking exclusively for horror etc but will consider it as a valid literary form. I am looking for originality, for good writing. I am looking for people to write outside their comfort zone. Normally write horror? Try a romance, try a western, a thriller a non-genre piece - and vice versa of course.

Most of I'm looking for DAMN GOOD STORIES.

I DO NOT WANT teenage vampires, handsome werewolves and all the rest of that nonsense. Neither do I like heroic fantasy or zombies, people who are dead but still "alive" okay, but, please, not shambling zombies. I have grown to hate zombies.

Maximum length 1500 words.

No payment I'm afraid. Just fame and celebrity!

Submission closing date: 31st October 2011

So, plenty of time. Please send your work to mbfg@hotmail.co.uk

Submission guidelines will go on web site in a day or so.

Regards
Terry Grimwood

Great theme, Terry.

As Rob Newman might observe:

"I want twilight of our lives, our world, our universe, of relationships, governments, jobs, civilisations, companies, stages of lives, eras, childhood, of gods, beliefs, flowers, seasons, careers, jobs, fame, days, nights mornings, evenings, afternoons, songs."

...and that's your bedtime.

Just unashamedly putting this back up the top just to remind everyone that there's a place to send stories to.

Cheers
Terry
