I've just mentioned on another thread that I'd like to see Aickman's take on The Magus. Anyone else any requests, if they could happen?

I'd like to see Irvine Welsh rewrite Pride and Prejudice.

Anyone with writing talent to rewrite Nick Hornby's How to be Good. It had such an interesting concept but such pathetically bad execution.

Ramsey could have made it really quite an interesting book indeed

So you're suggesting how How To Be Good could be good?

How about Jane Austen's version of Irvine Welsh's "A Smart Cunt"?

I'd like Thomas Harris to rewrite his last two books. Maybe he'd get 'em right this time.

We laugh about old Jane and assocaite her with tweeness, but I reckon she'd have done a good job of this edgy stuff. Certainly better than the friggin Bronte sisters.
