Oh, and assuming my answer to Q4 is correct, Adams was a script editor (and maybe more?) on Doctor Who back in the days of (I think) Tom Baker. |

Mick and Ross, well done - all answers correct - except for the hundred point bonus (need something more specific). Nevermind that some people won't have realised you answered question 2 correctly. Sorry Caroline - null points so far. |

Actually Caroline - I take it back. I was going to say Patrick Troughton for the Doctor Who question - with 17 years between his first appearance and the Two Doctors episode which was his last (McCoy had 9 years between first and last..) However Peter Davison notched up a massive 23 years with the 2007 one off for Comic relief - I didn't know about that coz I can't stand comic relief |

However, the Peter Davison reprise of the role wasn't technically canonical was it... I could keep my Patrick Troughton answer if I wanted... |

Well, I guess no. 8 is most likely Richard "Admiral" Basehart or David "Shouty" Hedison. Unless you're talking about the film. I sort-of answered the Doctor Who thingy above - one of Oolon thingy's books was read or commented on by a Doctor, but I had to cheat to work out it was in Destiny of the Daleks, as my memory's fading fast. |

1 - According to his theme song, which TV character is “Not afraid to make the intellectual leap”? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mtfb4m6xGCA As previously stated 2 – Why do more than 30 million people worldwide own a full frontal nude photo of 20 year old Spencer Elden? Here's the photo for those who haven't worked it out yet
The studio wanted to put out an alternative version with the penis airbrushed out but the only concession Kurt Cobain was willing to make was if a sticker was placed over it with the words "If this image offends you you must be some kind of closet paedophile". 3 – Who had the longest gap between his first and last appearance as Doctor Who (not counting photographs on library cards appearing on screen)? We'll go with Davison on this even though technically it wasn't part of the tv show 4 – Who wrote the books Where God went wrong, More of God’s Greatest Mistakes and Who is the God Person Anyway? Oolon Coluphid - a minor character from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy wrote these (and was once rumoured to have been based on Dawkins but the timeline is wrong for that to be true). IN the Destiny of the Daleks story - Tom Baker is trapped by a landslide and whilst killing time pulls out Oolon Coluphid's Origin of the Universe. He skims a few pages and says, "Hah, he doesn't know how wrong he is" before putting the book away. As previously stated - douglas adams was script editor at the time. 5 – What is contained in the briefcase retrieved by Vincent Vegas and Jules Winnfield? It was indeed Marcellus Wallace's soul - in a rather surreal section from Pulp Fiction. 6 – How many times are the words Hey Jude repeated in the song of the same name by that band from Liverpool? The words are sung 26 times in the song - which means they are repeated 25 times... 7 – Which book has the most questions about it in a standard game of Trivial Pursuit? Alice in Wonderland was the answer to this one. 8 – Which actor links Knight Rider and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea? Richard Basehart appeared in the first episode of Knight Rider as the father of David Knight and owner of the Knight Institute. |

It's never explained in the dialogue. The script however, (available in book form) says in the "stage" directions or whatever you call them for film what it is in the case. It was apparently extracted though the back of his neck which is why he wears a sticky plaster on his neck. |
