Well it had to come sooner or later, but after all the reviews and columns about horror movies I've posted willy-nilly (ooer) around the internet and in books I thought it would be more fun to have everything in one place, so behold my new blog:

http://www.johnlprobert.blogspot.com/

The first column is about Eyes Without a Face and its descendants / rip offs. I'll use this thread to let everyone know when I've put something new up. And let me know what you think!

Excellent stuff, John. I'm about to sit down and read it with a nice cuppa.

Read it this morning, John. Splendid. Enjoyed it thoroughly. As Mick says, another page bookmarked.

No, you were right first time, I'm Framk midweek, though without my mustache people off the nightclub circuit don't recognize me.

Thanks John! Readers may be interested / horrified to learn that I have quite a backlog of stuff I've never really had a forum for so I've already done another post - this time about Carlton J Albright's ultra-obscure 'The Children' from 1980

Final plug for this week. I've posted more than I intend to regularly but I wanted to get the blog properly kick started so here's Eurotrash Corner No.1:

Again excellent stuff there, John. And again, enjoyed it with a nice cuppa. Makes for a decidedly different breakfast experience.

Thanks again Frank! I've started the section on TV now (because Mortal Cinema is whatever I fancy it to be):

Hey, John (hoping this is a good place to ask this)....

Just a question. So I saw BREAKFAST AT THE MANCHESTER MORGUE (one of many titles for this film) for the first time (Ha! Loved it! Don't know how I missed this one all these years). It led me to imdb actor Arthur Kennedy, which in turn led me to discovering this other spaghetti-thriller he did:

Nove ospiti per un delitto (NINE GUESTS FOR A CRIME) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074979/

It sounds great - right up my alley! Have you ever seen it? Is it worth tracking down?

Hi Craig - Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue (as I know it) is great, isn't it?

I'm afraid I've not heard of the other film you mention, nor of Mr Baldi its director, but I'll keep a look out for it.
