My friends and I have access to Black Moon Manor for 24hrs. starting tonight. It should be fun to absorbe the eerie atmosphere of the place. It's been featured on a few tv shows. The link below shows an article and picture of it. http://www.hauntedheartlandpi.com/blackmoonmanor.htm?vm=r |

I survived thye haunted house. I really never saw or heard anything unexplainable, although I had two flashlights and my digital recorder go dead within minutes of each other but I probabley should have put new batteries in everything before I left. A few of my friends that were there said they had some thing happen to them. |

Wish I'd been there, Matt. I once determined, on a school trip, to spend the night in a haunted attic room in which a monk had hanged himself... and lasted all of about five minutes - as Sean can verify lol. I did see a ghost sitting on the end of my bed when I was fifteen. It was a beautiful young woman in diaphonous white, sat with her profile towards me. In the split second it took me to glance at my digital clock readout [7:41am] and back again... she had vanished. At first I thought I had caught a glimpse of my guardian angel until I rationalised the event, using Occam's Razor, as a hypnopompic hallucination. Did you feel any sudden drops in temperature? That's the most commonly felt manifestation. |

I personally did not but a few times the people I was with did. One of the girls there said she saw a disembodied face inside an open pipe, and my friends wife said that something kept grabbing her arm. There were a few things like that here and there but none that I could personaly verify. My friend called me tonight and said he got a lot of EVP's. One with a childs voice saying "I'll play with you." |

I think in these situations one creates one's own manifestations - as I did in those hair-raising five minutes. Hence the reason for haunted houses. We bring our own expectations with us to such places while countless "real" ghosts may be passed on the street every day. Occam's Razor again... or good old fashioned Forteanism. |

"I should have deleted Matt's log-in data for a laugh." Then maybe my new user-name could be "The-Disembodied-Entity-Formerly-Known-As-Matt" |
