Dear all, I was delighted to find out that both Hellbound Hearts: The Influence of Clive Barker on 21st Century Horror and An Evening of Occult Horror (Twisted Tales presents Ramsey Campbell and Adam Nevill) have been nominated for the This Is Horror 'Event of the Year' Award: http://www.thisishorror.co.uk/this-is-horror-awards-2011/ It's not a coincidence that Ramsey took part in both events. He has been enormously supportive of Twisted Tales right from the start, delivering powerful readings and thoughtful contributions to the discussions. Glyn and I have had a great year running these events and have made some good friends in the process. To win this award would be a brilliant way to mark what we have achieved thus far. The closing date for votes is Thursday 29th December 2011. If you have a spare minute to write in and/or spread the word it would be most appreciated. Have a great Christmas and New Year. FantasyCon 2011 is up for an Award there too. People can vote for up to three things in each category, so they could vote for your two events, David, AND FCon if they wanted! (which would be a triple for Ramsey) There are some interesting nominations there for various publications, film and TV too. | ||
