Steve Duffy's collection, TRAGIC LIFE STORIES, is the latest title in the Ash-Tree eBook range. Details at http://goo.gl/2xe4E Steve's earlier collection of Jamesian ghost stories, THE NIGHT COMES ON, will be published later this week. Four stories not in the original hardback edition are being added to the eBook. |

Ooh! I may have to plump for THE NIGHT COMES ON then! I have both collections on my shelves - I have to say that TRAGIC LIFE STORIES is (still) one of the best collections I've read in recent years. |

One of the four stories was in All Hallows, one was in Ghosts & Scholars, and the other two, while written around the same time as the stories in The Night Comes On, have not been published. Thematically they're very like the tales in TNCO, so they're an excellent fit with that volume. |

Indeed - I checked with Steve earlier before your post, Barbara, to see which the tales are, and the one in G&S is the only one I'll have read before. |
