I'm in the middle of a Ramsey re-read at the moment - I started at 'Demons by Daylight', moved onto 'Height of the Scream' then 'Dark Companions' and I'm currently half way through 'Alone with the Horrors'. I plan on reading 'Told by the Dead' and 'Just Behind You' next - I've only read two or three stories from each of these collections. On Christmas day, once all our visitors had left, I planned on relaxing in my reading room, with a nice cold lager and a Christmas themed story - 'The Decorations'. Unfortunatley, at about 4pm, a storm front moved in. Within 5 mins our house, garden and cars were being pounded by golf ball sized hailstones. Our house was ok, garden was shredded, both our cars require new bonnets and the roof of my woodworking shed needs replacing. At least we weren't flooded, like many of our neighbours. I finally got to 'The Decorations', and it's brilliant! |

Bloody hell, Lincoln, sounds like you need a bit Ramsey's stuff to cheer you up after all those horrors! Good luck! |

Jesus. Glad no-one was hurt, Lincoln. Hope everything's soon fixed up; enjoy the rest of your Ramsey reading. |

Ramsey shorts - now that's MY kind of Christmas too. Think I could do without hailstones like that though - your weather's worse than ours! Glad you're OK - cars and stuff can be repaired/replaced, but it wouldn't have been very good if you were out in it too. |
