Funny how we repeat jokes relatively freely but if I'd used a nice turn or phrase I'd feel compelled to give credit to its author somehow. Where's the line?

I was reading the one-liner jokes in that article. I had a hard time figuring this one out - "I went into three clinics, it was a real struggle" - but I laughed out loud when I got it... then I gulped, embarrassed, when I realized....
