It's only the first round. Simon's nowhere near. They don't get to see Simon till about the 6th or 7th round - by which time the jusdges have already seen screen tests and heard recodings of all the contestants so they can write their witty comments well in advance to take the piss out of the delusional and borderline mentally handicapped people who believe they're Whitney Houston in her heydey but sound about like someone stamping on a chicken. So we have to wonder how these bad singers can get through so many rounds before they're cruelly abused by the official judges. It couldn't possibly be that the programme is rigged and that the audition stage is deliberate and cruel car crash TV at its worst could it? | ||
