OK, this is a little bit of self-promotion (but not a lot), a little bit of promoting other RCMBers (I'm sure they won't mind), but mostly because I reckon many people here will be interested in this. So I hope no-one minds the promotional aspect of this thread.

I'm sure you will have discovered the This Is Horror website, which is full of great reviews, interviews and news? (http://www.thisishorror.co.uk/) Well, I've been doing a few 'Meet The Publisher' interviews which should be appearing on the site very soon! I'm chuffed to bits to be a member of the team as I really do think it's a brilliant site for horror fans.

Now, they're just about to start to publish their This Is Horror Premium Chapbooks Series - one to be released every quarter. Upcoming releases from David Moody, Gary McMahon and Simon Bestwick, Conrad Williams and Joseph D’Lacey. Nice one, Gary and Simon! The blurb for your chapbook looks very good indeed. So, here's a little promo stuff - you can subscribe here:
http://www.thisishorror.co.uk/shop/premium-chapbooks-annual-subscription/

They also have a launch event with David Moody, Joseph D’Lacey, Jasper Bark and our very own Simon Bestwick. This is on Friday 22 June 2012 in The Writer’s Room, Milburn House at the University of Warwick from 7pm till 9pm. Tickets are free but you have to email to reserve. Details here:
http://www.thisishorror.co.uk/this-is-horror-premium-chapbooks-launch-event-with -david-moody-joseph-dlacey-and-simon-bestwick/

I think Michael Wilson runs an excellent site over there, so I'm expecting really good things from this new chapbook series.

Oh, and of course I'll let you all know when my interviews go live on the site.

Wasn't aware of this site, so thanks Caroline. Have signed up for the newsletter and will also subscribe - those chapbooks look great, and well priced.

Thanks, Lincoln. I'm glad I've turned you on to the This Is Horror site!

My first 'Meet The Publisher' interview is on there today - with our very own Ray Russell of Tartarus Press (thanks, Ray):
http://www.thisishorror.co.uk/read-horror/meet-the-publisher/tartarus-press/

I've got another one in the queue, one still to prepare, and that rather exciting interview to do next month at the Fantastic Films Weekend, with Renee Glynne about her Hammer Horror career. I'm enjoying getting back into interviewing again!

Another little plug here for the second of my Meet The Publisher interviews on the This Is Horror site. I've just done an interview with that lovely chap David Sutton about Shadow Publishing:

It looks like I won't be doing the Fantastic Films Weekend review and interview after all though - I just don't have time at the moment ...

Great stuff, Caroline.

Let's extract the key news point from this interview: SHADOW BOOKS ARE PUBLISHING AN EDDY C. BERTIN COLLECTION! This is GREAT news.

Yep, that's what I thought too, Joel!

Hey, glad someone's reading my interviews. Thanks!

Really enjoying this site, and the email updates. Loads of news, reviews etc - gives me plenty to read on my lunch break.
Anyone else a chapbook subscriber?

It is an excellent site, Lincoln - great up-to-the-minute stuff on there. Michael Wilson and the rest of the folk there are doing a fantastic job (I'm excluding myself here - don't want to blow my own trumpet!).

I haven't subscribed to the chapbooks but I'm definitely thinking of buying the one by Gary and Simon as a one-off.

Have you got the David Moody one? Is it good?

I subscribed earlier this week - will probably take a week or so to make its way down under. Moody and D'Lacey are new to me, so looking forward to receiving their books.
You do get a digital copy of each chapbook, so if I get desperate I could read the Moody on my phone, but I think I'll wait.
