Thanks, Carolinec! I tend to write little synopsis of the short stories I read all the time nowadays for future use in the article. The ones by Ramsey always grows a lot faster than by anyone else. | ||

Good job, Matt! I'd like to see you write some longer reviews of more of the novels and stories. I enjoyed reading this, and also your earlier notes on Ramsey and Fritz Leiber. It's always interesting to read what other enthusiasts have to say about the stories. Makes me feel like digging out the tomes and reading them all over again... | ||

Thank you all so much. It's an honor to receive praise from you. I started writing for Vintage Horror in hopes it might help getting some of my stories published (which I've had a few now) but I'veI gained so much more from it by discovering other fantastic writers (LeFanu, Wharton, Benson, etc.). Reading Ancient Images by Ramsey at a young age really jump started by love of the genre. I included several stories in this most recent article that were suggested by people here "Welcomeland" was one for certain. Thanks again! |
